Skargaarden is one of our favorite Swedish brands. We love their inspired 1950’s-style with traditional handmade craftsmanship. They are introducing two new lines to be mixed and matched with their growing collections. Here is a peek at what’s new for 2018 or you can visit our site.
Skargaarden’s Bonan collection has been named after a sleepy fishing village north of Stockholm on the Swedish coast. Each Bonan piece reflects life at the Baltic coast, worry-free and life reaffirming.
The frames of this modular sofa system are made from light-weight, powder-coated aluminum, which can be used outdoors all year round. The straight lines underline the simplicity in design as well as its functionality. Bonan modules can be assembled in many different combinations to fit your residential or hospitality space or to just make a clever statement. Cushions are of high performing Sunbrella outdoor fabric with quick-dry fill. Tables have the same blocky appearance as the Bonan seating and a choice of two tabletop materials: elegant limestone versus added warmth with a teak top. Remain versatile and go with this durable outdoor line by Skargaarden.
Skargaarden likes to emulate its collections after real places. Salto is namesake to an island along Sweden’s west coast. The sofa embodies Salto’s shoreline that has been reshaped by the forces present in this landscape. As if wind, salt and driftwood gently curved this sofa into shape.
The design is sturdy with a light-weight, powder-coated aluminum frame that resists corrosion from permanent salt sprays, but also simple enough to not take away from the natural beauty surrounding it. Cushions are made from high performing outdoor Sunbrella fabric with filling that dries really quickly. The sofa comfortably seats three and is available in two frame and various natural cushion colors.
The innocence of the Salto sofa pairs well with Skargaarden’s Reso Lounge tables and Marrakech tile tables.
