While vacationing in France, I came across this fabulous fire ring. It serves as a fire pit and a grill at the same time. My father in law found it in Switzerland and had it shipped to France. It is quite heavy and the rings journey from Switzerland to France was not without the usual frustrations with French bureaucracy. When it finally arrived, I was quite skeptical on how special this fire ring would be. I have seen my share of fire pits in the states, but this one is really cool. The ability to cook on it adds another dimension to outdoor cooking. Needless to say, I want one… now I have to figure out how to ship it to Seattle… perhaps, we will even sell it one day.
