Every time I return from visiting Europe, I wonder why Europeans always have such nice shading solutions for outdoor dining. Why don’t restaurants in the USA offer the same? One of my favorite things to do while in Europe is eat outdoors and watch the people. Almost every restaurant has a massive umbrella or some other creative shading alternative, and everyone dines comfortably outside. Don’t restaurateurs know that if you create a welcoming environment, more people will dine?
